Setting up a Friends' Forum
If you are already a member of a friends’ group, you might find it useful to be able to contact other friends groups in your area to share experiences, identify funding and raise the profile of your activities and aims.

BOSF is a volunteer network organisation, set up at the end of 2004, that brings together all the community groups in Birmingham with an interest in green open spaces. Our main focus is supporting the volunteers who add value to the city’s open space.
Green Tides represents approximately 40 community green-space volunteer groups across Adur and Worthing.
A green space forum provides support for new community park groups as well as assisting established park groups.
Successful forums can benefit both park friends’ groups and local authority officers.
