Turn Moss is 2.7 hectares of open greenspace situated in Trafford, Greater Manchester between Stretford and Chorlton. In January 2018 planning permission was sought to develop approx. 25% as a training centre for Salford City Football Club which would have resulted in a sizeable area of Turn Moss being fenced off from public access.

Defeating a “land Grab” – Friends of Wandsworth Park
In May of 2017 we were informed that the neighbours adjacent to a piece of parkland (176 sq. m) alongside the Thames had submitted a planning application for ‘change of use’ with the intent of taking a private long-lease of the land to be incorporated into their already large private gardens.
Woodcock Park Mural – from eyesore to local landmark
In Woodcock Park there is a wall that lies next to the path that leads to the park. The wall was always painted what can only be described as snot green.
